The 328 was designed to replace Dornier’s existing 19- to 30-seat turboprops. The aircraft usually seats 32 passengers. Its comparatively low cost of acquisition and operation means that the aircraft is cost-efficient with outstanding field performance. It can be operated from short runways, allowing operators to use small airfields.
